I am hair free on all areas of my body that I choose on a daily basis, w/10 min.a day maintence. I have replaced the eMagine 2x.Both within a month before or after the original purchase date, it stops working (twice???).For the money it should be be more durable. I feel that this model is designed to be replaced after 12 mos. The electric cords on my other models seem to have the same lifespan and can only be replaced by your company. Not a real concern, the cost of the cords are reasonable. However; The eMagine, although, my favorite, is expensive and should last longer. My first 1st Emjoi,the Epislim will NOT die. I even bought another one with that intisipation that it might stop working, and leave me in a lurch. It is still going strong after 6 yrs (as are my Mother's and the many friends that I have recommended it to). I am now hooked on the epilator system for hair removal. I am now in a hast to find another manufacturer to fit my needs for epilator hair removal. I am disappointed, that my loyalty and confidence in your products,has still left me in a lurch to find a new system with such haste. I can only hope that this critique will ensure your future loyal customers better customer service and more durable products for their money.
by baldygirl from London, Canada	Not that great. Really, not. at August 5, 2009 I just purchased the Emjoi Emagine and after using it I'm not convinced it's all it's made out to be here. I'd previously been using my friend's 10+ year old SilkEpil by Braun, and it works far better. It hurts a bit more, but it may be because it's actually ripping out hair, while the Emjoi misses a tonne. On my machine, the tweezers close BEFORE they're flush with my skin. It works well on the underarms because that area is slightly curved. But for legs, it's rather crummy. I contacted Emjoi directly, and they still haven't gotten back to me. Fabove.ca, the retailer through which I purchased, contacted Emjoi on my behalf, and Emjoi's response was kind of stupid. I'd buy from any other manufacturer at this point than Emjoi.
by TM Richards	Terrible! at July 27, 2009 I've used Emjoi for years, but this Emagine is terrible. It breaks off the hairs instead of pulling them out. I'm returning it. I prefer their Optima epilator.
by Emily	Excellent! at April 25, 2009 The is my first epilator. It's a bit pricey but I figured if I was going to use one on my legs I wanted to do it right. With 72 tweezers, this epilator works like a charm! It gets all the hair out with one stroke (on my legs). I am still getting used to it but I am very pleased with the results.
